MILD Lucid Dream Practice with Intention and Recall

MILD uses memory, intention, and dream recall to recognize a dream while it is happening. In the Kyrifix tutorial, Practice records the intention, recurring dream sign, moment of lucid awareness, and result for the next step of the method.

MILD and review are steps in the Kyrifix tutorial. Follow the Kyrifix tutorial and method for a very high chance of experiencing a lucid dream in your first week, then continue with the Kyrifix method for a very high chance of reaching lucid dreams night after night.

Prepare one intention before sleep

  1. Recall a recent dream.
  2. Choose one recurring person, place, emotion, object, or event.
  3. Write one short intention that connects this sign with recognizing the dream.
  4. Read the intention with full attention.
  5. Begin the Practice session.

Example:

When I see the old train station, I recognize that I am dreaming.

Record the dream after waking

Save:

  • the first dream keywords;
  • the chosen dream sign;
  • the moment the intention returned;
  • the moment of lucid awareness;
  • the final result.

Add the full dream after the first keywords.

Review one change

Compare the intention, dream sign, cue setting, awareness, and result. For the next session, keep the same intention or choose one clearer recurring sign. Change one item and compare the next result.

Combine MILD with a gentle WBTB period

During a later sleep window, wake lightly, recall the recent dream, read the intention, and return to sleep calmly. Record the dream and result after the final waking.
