Translate Text Beside the Original Sentence
Select a word, sentence, or paragraph in a Mac app and choose Translate. Dictionary shows the translation beside the selected text so the original context remains visible.
Translate while reading
Select a paragraph in a browser, PDF, paper, or document. Read the translation with the surrounding text still on screen.
Translate while writing
Select a message or email sentence, translate it, compare the wording with the original, and continue the reply.
Continue from the same place
Close the result or use the translated text, then continue reading or writing from the current sentence.
Read text from images with OCR
For words in screenshots, subtitles, images, video frames, and scanned pages, select the screen region with OCR and open the translation.
